Q. It erases everything and starts syncing from the beginning. I would have no problems if this step took a little time, but it takes like 1-2 hours. How can I stop this from happening?
A. Before you plug in your ipod, open itunes. Go to edit>preference> device tab> halfway down check prevent ipod from syncing automatically.

A. The best FM Modulator I've ever heard (and now I have it) is a model from Monstor Cable. Mine charges as well, and has 3 presets for quick changes in different locations. But as said above, FM Modulation is not the best.

A. You need to SSH into it:
Download OpenSSH from Cydia
Download SSH Toggle or SB Settings
Download WinSCP (http://winscp.net/eng/index.php)
Get iPod's IP address in the settings on WiFi in your iPod Touch
In WinSCP add a new session
-host name: your iPod's IP
-user name: root
-password: alpine
I think you then put the theme into library/themes
