What is the best iPad case for someone with a physical disability?

Q. I am a special education teacher and I'm looking for the best iPad case/stand that is easy to open and set up for someone with limited strength and dexterity. Any suggestions?
I need something that also has a stand for typing angle, not just a protective case. The apple case with the little tab in the back is too difficult for my student to set up.

A. One of the cheapest and best would be an aluminum stand that's compatible with the iPad. It's called the Macally Viewstand Aluminum stand and is a clean-looking and aesthetically functional stand (being the cheapest of the lot).

If you want one that's compatible with the iPad 2 then get the Kickstand Stand Adjustable Handheld Electronics Holder.

Other stands you can get from Amazon include:
* Macally Bookstand Protective Case and Stand (this one is good for typing)
* Griffin A-Frame
* elago P2 Stand for iPad

What benefits does an ipad have for a college university student?
Q. I am going to a university in august as a freshman and I am looking to get the most out of my education. So I am looking for things that will help me with this, is an ipad beneficial?

A. for buying inexpensive college books, yes.

for typing notes, not so much.

I would say that it is worth your while.

What is the difference between an ipad with 3g and an ipad without 3g?
Q. My mom just got an ipad with 3g. My sister is currently using it but when she went to the airport and tried to use it, it didn't work.

A. without 3G, or wifi only, means they can get internet only through a wifi network

with 3G means they cna get online using cellular networks like a smartphone would.

airports often have bad service to begin with just for the safety of the planes and the RF sensitive technology in them. which could explain the issue there
