How can I stop my Galaxy Tab from vibrating on Google Voice notifications?

Q. I would like to stop any vibrations when I receive an alert from Google voice on my Galaxy tab 10.1. In fact, I'd like to stop all vibrations on notifications.

A. Open google voice app and click the "do not disturb". If you do not want any notifications from any apps, go to the home screen and slide down the top bar. In there, select silent mode.

Is it possible to connect a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 to a laptop to use a digital painting program?
Q. My mother recently bought me a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 as a gift to use for digital artwork, but without doing any research on the product before buying it. I know very little about technology as a general rule, therefore I don't know if this is possible or not. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to connect the device to my laptop to run a digital editing program such as Photoshop or GIMP and use the tablet to draw and paint with. If it is possible, can someone please tell me how, what programs I would need to do it, and what sort of equipment or cables would be required to connect them? Thank you.

A. A PC computer has a System Folder.
The System C:/drive..is also called the Folder../
What you are asking is about a peripheral--that would communicate thru a USB PORT../
===
Next--you want another device that has a OS..to install its program--on a different computer--NOT..
Part of your network../
===
Right there--you would be breaking all the rules../
===
If you were to use the Ethernet PORT--
...such a configuration--only allows..Files-Folder-and-Printer sharing..
Windows[tm] also offers media sharing via your WMP../
===
You would need to purchase the actual program..
..this would operate--from a SYS Folder.

What are some advantages of having your Galaxy Tab gt-p7510 rooted?
Q. New to the electronics scene, but so far I really don't like all of the unwanted stuff running on my tablet. I would like to hear INTELLIGENT AND HELPFUL ADVICE about unlocking the potential, and removing the junk from the gt-p7510.
If I were to do this, how would I know what to to remove, and what not to remove?

A. The biggest advantage is that you take back what's yours - what you paid for. Your phone with your memory chips which are impregnated with un-removable crapware that you don't want and don't use, pointlessly wasting memory.

I find it very annoying that crapware is installed on my phone and marked as 'system' software to prevent uninstallation. It's like buying a new car with an unremovable sticker advertising Crest toothpaste stuck on the windshield. Maybe I should strike that last sentence - it'll give them ideas.
