Q. I'm going over to america for a holiday and im looking at buying an iphone. I'm already with Telstra prepaid and don't want to change. What would i have to do to get it working over here? Will i still be able to update my iphone? Do i need to get it unlocked and where can i get this done? Can i use the wifi? I've searched the internet for ages but everyone says different things. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

But you will have to change services to AT&T to get the iPhone 3GS for the $199 with contract price or else you will have to pay $700 for one without contract

iPhone 3G cost $99 with contract....

I'd go with the 3G S...

Also you have to pay the activation fee ($50)
Then in a few days (14 days I think)
You can cancel your AT&T Service and keep your iPhone but you will have to pay a termination fee (Around $200).... It also lowers your credit score by a little

But you have to pay the monthly fee though before you terminate

It adds up to paying only around $500 compared to the $700 MSRP Price without contract but you have to lower your credit score by a bit

A. Wait a minute...Apple store? You can't download ANYTHING from there. If you also can't get it from amazon then try downloading different app markets. Example; aptoide, getjar...etc.

What's the difference between the iPhone 4s and the iPhone 5?

Q. I know that the iPhone 5 is slimmer and has a larger screen, is there any other differences? Also, should I buy the iPhone 5 or stick with the iPhone 4s?

A. Here are the biggest differences between the 4s and 5:

Processor Speed
The 5 has a much faster processor that is reportedly twice as fast as the 4s. This matters only if you play lots of high graphic games on your phone. Even if you don't the extra speed will increase the load times of other apps and even the boot up process. It just isn't that big a deal if you don't play intense games like Infinity Blade 2. Granted right now the games that are available are optimized for the 4s but there will be games that will come out that push the graphics of even the 5. That is inevitable.

Improved Camera
The 5 has a revamped 8mp camera that has better low-light performance, faster photo capture and video stabilization.

Physical Design
You already know the iPhone5 has a larger screen but it also has a different case too. The 5 has a slimmer anodized aluminum shell which is the same aluminum that Apple uses on their notebooks.

The question is whether you feel the upgrade is worth it over your 4s. I personally skip every other generation because when the next generation comes out the previous models go on sale. The differences between models aren't as big as when Apple added Retina displays to their iPhones so I say you are safe to hold out for the iPhone5s which, if Apple holds to this pace, should be out next year around this time.

How do get more space for my kindle fire?

Q. My kindle fire is almost out of space and don't know why. I think it's because of the Android Mp3 App havin so much music. I was thinking about getting rid of it and taking all my cds off of it since my music would still be on there. Would that help or is it something else mucking up my space?

A. Yep I'm pretty sure that's what it is. Music can easily take up a lot of space when it is downloaded directly on your device.

How to unfreeze a ipod touch when its on the apple logo?

Q. I got a ipod touch 2g and I've tried to restore it and it still freezes at the apple logo when it tries to boot up i've tried to restore it many times. Please Help.

A. Hook it up to iTunes. It should fix your iPod's problems. Unless you've jail-broken it, where you'd have to run the program you used to jailbreak it.

Also, when it freezes, press and hold the power and home button for a few seconds. It should automatically restart, and although it will take a while to load up (like a couple of minutes on the apple screen, 3 max) it WILL finally boot up.

What is better? Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, iPad Mini, or Google Nexus?

Q. Ok, I'm asking this question because of three reasons.
1.) I'm not very rich so I need to make a smart decision. I don't know much about the differences but I'll explain what I want later in this question.
2.) I did want the iPad Mini at first but the new one is coming out soon and I can't wait. Is the iPad mini still good and can last me like 4 years despite being based on the iPad 2?
3.) I am in dire need of my own technology device. Holy s*** I cannot share a laptop with my sister any longer.

So what I want is a tablet that is easy to use, easy to sync pictures, videos and songs on to. (I'm not buying songs. $1.59 for a song is stupid.) It needs to have GOOD APPS. The quantity doesn't matter as much as the quality but a few apps that I do want is Crunchyroll's app for anime, the Lava Team Story games, picture apps for editing pictures, social network apps, etc.

I also want to draw on it. I know you can get a pen for the ipad mini but I know Galaxy Note has a pen for it and that's pretty cool.

Also, I want something fast, great screen, and won't die on me in like 2 years because new ones are coming out. (at least last 4 years)

My parents are willing to use a little of the income tax on this so if I don't ask for it as soon as possible, all the money will be gone or they might change their mind later on in the year.

So what's the best for me? Yes, i'm an artist and would love to be able to draw and color on my tablet but performance, games, and stuff like that kinda come first.

A. While I like the Note 8.0,being in the same boat as yourself,I would wait a couple more weeks (or until Samsung reveal the price)to see if & when Apple are selling the Ipad Mini 2 & what it is going to be like.
How many times have you not waited a week or 2 longer to check something & something better or cheaper has come out? Rumours suggest the Ipad Mini could be out or revealed in April,but as in anything in life,it's all a gamble.Good Luck
